Our student Yaseen Fayaz represented Ibn Al Haytham Academy at the 6th International Urdu Social Science Congress 2024 on Technology, Environment, and Society, organised by Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad (MANUU).
Held between 7th and 8th March 2024, the event was conducted by the Department of Arts and Social Sciences at MANUU. The conference explored various facets of the complex relationship between technology, society, and the environment, with a focus on critical issues that define the current and future trajectory of the society.
Yaseen’s paper titled ‘Migrant Laborers in Kerala: Marginality and the Dynamics of Social Integration’ speculates the life and work of migrant laborers in Kerala. The paper was presented as part of Yaseen’s research study in the field and adds to his ongoing documentary on the subject.
